Skinny Dip

URBAN CABARET

November 1, 2017

This Skinny Dip performance chose "Urban Cabaret" as the theme. Initially, I was thinking about wearing black and going industrial in some way, but Seattle is a construction boom town right now and full of construction workers and detour signs. So, I went in that direction, literally! My music is Kida composed by Dr. Samy Farag. With his permission, I had my good friend Chris Gibson of Market Street Music School add cityscape sounds over the top of the song. We used construction sounds (including a jackhammer), Central Park sounds, street sounds of people talking and cars honking, and sounds from a baseball stadium.
