Kat Welsh's 3rd annual Horrific show, in January 2018, was the most well-attended yet. We had 451 people in our audience and performed at the Rialto Theater in Tacoma. 

 

For this performance, I created a dance based on the 1958 version of The Fly. I used original music composed by Chris Gibson of Market Street Music School. I wanted 1950s movie music sandwiching a Chemical Brothers-style techno song. Chris took my suggestions and made something remarkable, intense, and beautiful. I performed the role of Helene and Bagoas performed the role of Andre, a scientist who accidentally turns himself into The Fly. My almost 15-month-old son played the role of the human-head fly. He nearly stole the show! My dress was made by Michelle Poston of Az'ya Michelle.
